Asheville guitarist Ken Chapple founded Another Country in 2017 to showcase his original songs, steadily building a strong following across the Southeast. Now with a fresh lineup and brand-new music, Another Country is booking shows for 2025!
Another Country blends American roots music with the groove-heavy improvisation of funk, jazz, and rock, carving out a sound that’s both soulful and unpredictable. Think Medeski Martin Scofield & Wood with lyrics—earthy yet experimental, grounded in tradition but always exploring new territory. Their songs weave storytelling with deep instrumental interplay, inviting listeners into an epic musical journey.
