Asheville guitarist Ken Chapple started Another Country in 2017 to perform his original music. After a hiatus, Ken is back with new music and an all new lineup for 2025.
Another Country blends American roots music with the groove-heavy improvisation of funk, jazz, and rock, carving out a sound that’s both soulful and unpredictable. Think Medeski Martin & Wood or John Scofield with lyrics—earthy yet experimental, grounded in tradition but always exploring new territory. Their songs weave storytelling with deep instrumental interplay, inviting listeners into an epic musical journey.
